Ear Microsuction & Syringing

Good ear health matters at every age. Hearing can be affected by many things — getting older, using earbuds, spending time around loud noise, or a simple build-up of earwax. Our ear health service at Porthcawl Pharmacy is here to help if you have concerns about your hearing, or if you think you may need earwax removed.

What we offer

We provide ear microsuction and ear syringing, along with a look at your ears to help work out what is going on. Microsuction uses gentle suction to lift wax away. Syringing uses a flow of warm water to soften and clear it. We will talk you through which option suits you before anything is done.

Who it is for

The service is open to people of all ages who are worried about their ear or hearing health. That might mean muffled hearing, a blocked feeling, or a build-up of wax that is causing you trouble. If you are unsure whether we can help, please ask.
